I am a freelance floral artist offering a bespoke service to help create the style you want for your wedding, party, celebration of a life lived, or any event where you want to create an atmosphere uniquely yours and unforgettable.
From first meeting to final flourish you will have my total attention and that means I am happy to work with you in whatever way you want - from running a day's course so you have the confidence to order and arrange the flowers yourself; working at the venue with you/family/friends who want to be practically involved (and have gardens to pillage); to offering a complete service where we meet to work out what style you want to create and I simply make it happen.
I think nature is hard to beat and my preferred style reflects that, so I avoid regimented triangles, stiff designs, and rows of identical arrangements. I can do wild, minimal, sophisticated, romantic, but am not keen on tortured. I aim to bring the outside in so it can work its own magic: flowers, foliage, fruits, fungii, feathers ... and lots of other stuff not beginning with 'f'! Anything, in fact, that will make the designs more personal and add to the setting and enjoyment of all involved.
Whatever your venue, I relish the challenge of exploring what you want to achieve and using my experience to come up with creative ideas that will realise what you imagine.
If you are planning an event in the Wessex area, and would like to talk through the possibilities, I'd be delighted to hear from you.
Some funeral tributes to celebrate lives lived. I used Spring flowers arranged naturally, as if growing from a woodland floor: hellebores, mosses, ivy, pussy willow, hyacinths, bluebells, ranunculus, ammi, scented narcissi, cherry blossom buds, lily of the valley and primula plants.
